Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Francisco Vinhas got the match started through his kick off. Umberto Vidal's late challenge caught a Cabeco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umberto Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Insano Grama e Futsal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabeco:s goal. João Francisco Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Macedo having to interfere. Zé Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Insano Grama e Futsal's zone, Renato Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernani Barbosa came out of the goal and Renato Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco Vinhas went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Almir Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renato Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ernani Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Almir Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernani Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Renato Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernani Barbosa was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Nogueira made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cabeco's goalkeeper Zé Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Cardoso. Zé Macedo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Edmundo Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Almir Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Souza during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willian Souza hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The Cabeco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Zé Macedo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Edmundo Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Zé Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Vinhas in the 88th minute of the match. Edmundo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cabeco's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
