Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Cerezo made the kick off which started today's match. Tauapeacu's Jacinto Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Cerezo in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Tauapeacu's Manoel Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marquinhos Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Manoel Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 15th minute of the match, Nando Passos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marquinhos Gerber was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Tauapeacu fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Tauapeacu's Manoel Melo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmundo Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jacinto Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Juan Fantini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauapeacu and the Licor de Xurumela A. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Fantini hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tauapeacu booed when Licor de Xurumela A. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tauapeacu's Ediberto Torres tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Nando Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nando Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Marquinhos Gerber made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Manoel Melo made the kick off in the second half. Tauapeacu's Nando Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Melo in the 54th minute of play forced Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s goalkeeper Marquinhos Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléberson de Moraes's late challenge caught a Tauapeacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Cléberson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s zone, Manoel Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Gerber came out of the goal and Manoel Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nando Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Licor de Xurumela A. C.'s Valdomiro Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Valdomiro Alcântara off the ground. After 65 played minutes, Tauapeacu's Ediberto Torres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marquinhos Gerber came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tauapeacu reached it. Nando Passos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquinhos Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Marquinhos Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Passos in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Passos in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
