Olinto's Reynaldo de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ronaldão Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Olinto booed when Levado Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olinto's Dorian Barbosa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Levado Esporte Clube. With his leg Cauan Magalhães managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Levado Esporte Clube's Wilton Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo de Toledo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio de Queiroz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game.
