After having played for 5 minutes, Silas Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TROPA DE ELITE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dráuzio Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedito Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Ferreira in the 11th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Msantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Figueiredo. In the 16th minute, Miguel Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Teles hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Norberto Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dito Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Norberto Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Silas Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Matos in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Msantos FC booed when TROPA DE ELITE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dráuzio Monteiro to make the kick off. Norberto Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute of the match Msantos FC got a corner. TROPA DE ELITE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Eduardo Catarinense ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benedito Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Teles in the 57th minute of play. If Duarte Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Silas Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Msantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Ferreira came free, but Benedito Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Msantos FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rogério Fantini hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Waldemar Teles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Msantos FC's Benedito Abraão didn't even have to move. Duarte Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Abraão having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Tiago Gabriel Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, TROPA DE ELITE failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
