Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Ferraz got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes CANELAS SECA got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Catarinense. Rui Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Pedro Paulo Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Fantini in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Dênis Meira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Caveiras FC's Henrique Salles. Henrique Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes CANELAS SECA got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Cabral. Juarês Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Salles having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caveiras FC's zone, Juarês Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Salles came out of the goal and Juarês Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CANELAS SECA's Juarês Catarinense in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caveiras FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pedrão Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ferraz in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Juarês Catarinense made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, CANELAS SECA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Matorin to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, CANELAS SECA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Gerber came free, but Pedro Paulo Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Gerber in the 55th minute of play forced CANELAS SECA's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Caveiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Ferraz. Juarês Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Salles having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Walmyr Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Xavier having to interfere. Pedrão Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Paulo Xavier having to make a save. Juarês Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CANELAS SECA booed when Caveiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Paulo Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Ferraz in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Juarês Catarinense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Caveiras FC's Henrique Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Catarinense in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Pedrão Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Xavier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes CANELAS SECA got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho de Amorim. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
