Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oscar Messias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Armando Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Salles was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the game, Franklin Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caveiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibrahy the free kick. Franklin Carneiro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Messias in the 8th minute of play forced Caveiras FC's goalkeeper Henrique Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Messias's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. A collision led to Caveiras FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jorge de Brito hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Oscar Messias in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caveiras FC's goalkeeper Henrique Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Vieira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Oscar Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ibrahy's Michel Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ibrahy from getting a goal against them. Armando Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Salles having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Messias in the 34th minute of play forced Caveiras FC's goalkeeper Henrique Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Messias in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Salles saved Caveiras FC from getting behind. A collision led to Caveiras FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Franklin Carneiro hit a great ball. When Armando Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ibrahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Vieira couldn't finish the play. Henrique Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Armando Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oscar Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Pedrão Gerber made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Vieira got free with Henrique Salles in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute of the match Ibrahy got a corner. Caveiras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Paulo Cavalcante ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ibrahy's Armando Vieira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Henrique Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Caveiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge de Brito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Messias in the 62nd minute of play forced Caveiras FC's goalkeeper Henrique Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Messias in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Simão Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caveiras FC's Henrique Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Caveiras FC's goalkeeper Henrique Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Vieira. Henrique Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Vieira in the 79th minute. If Armando Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Vieira in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrique Salles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oscar Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Salles having to interfere. Oscar Messias took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrique Salles. Henrique Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg Henrique Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 99thth minute, when Ibrahy's Armando Vieira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
