Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oscar Mattos kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Oscar Mattos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jojoca FC's Claudinho Loureiro. Claudinho Loureiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 11 minutes, Oscar Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arapuá FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Almeida having to interfere. Gerson Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Gerson Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Claudinho Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arapuá FC.. André Luiz Cardozo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Betinho Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arapuá FC.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Marcelinho Pirani scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Almeida, making the score, 1-1. In the 39th minute of the match, Marcelinho Pirani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clemente Almeida was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute, André Luiz Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Betinho Branco made the kick off in the second half. Elder da Fonseca hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Jojoca FC's Claudinho Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Jojoca FC from getting a goal against them. Clemente Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jojoca FC booed when Arapuá FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Betinho Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Arapuá FC.'s Belchior Queiroz got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jojoca FC's Fausto Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Arapuá FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jojoca FC's zone, André Luiz Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Loureiro came out of the goal and André Luiz Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Oscar Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arapuá FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Gerson Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinho Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Mattos in the 89th minute. José Vítor Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Loureiro having to interfere. Clemente Almeida came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jojoca FC's Augusto Paranaense. But to his dismay, Augusto Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If José Vítor Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Jojoca FC could leave the field as winners, despite Arapuá FC. having more of the ball for most of the match.
