He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jojoca FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival Salles during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Jojoca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Salles to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Pedrão Pinheiro fired a really elegant long shot, but Claudinho Loureiro threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Deivid Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes, Deivid Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anajateua and the Jojoca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudinho Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Mello in the 28th minute of play. Nilton Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrão Pinheiro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Betinho Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Betinho Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Saldanha. Anajateua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betinho Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Betinho Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Saldanha having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match, Betinho Branco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilton Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deivid Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Claudinho Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Mello in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Pereira struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Claudinho Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anajateua. Claudinho Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Pereira's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Gabriel Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Loureiro having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Betinho Branco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Anajateua's Nilton Saldanha. Nilton Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deivid Mello got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 90th minute, Deivid Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jojoca FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
