Golfos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duda Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Corrêa in the 35th minute of play forced Unidos do Morro's goalkeeper Lucas Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unidos do Morro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Ernani Corrêa scored to the left of an out of position Lucas Luz, making the score, 0-2. In the 64th minute Ernani Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Corrêa in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Golfos FC's Ernani Corrêa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. If Duda Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor de Barros hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Duda Seco in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucas Luz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th minute, Nestor de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Unidos do Morro booed when Golfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Luz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Duda Seco sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golfos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
