Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tony Macedo kicked off to start the match. Alberto da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Anajateua getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Pedrão Pinheiro hit a great ball. The corinthians fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when corinthians's Tony Macedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alberto da Mata struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nilton Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for corinthians. Tony Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nilton Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto da Mata in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilton Saldanha saved Anajateua from getting behind. When corinthians's Tony Macedo in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anajateua's goalie prevented a goal. Tony Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nilton Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Tony Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Macedo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilton Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alberto da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Romero during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anajateua's Nilton Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Macedo in the 34th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Anajateua got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Pinheiro. If Deivid Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Deivid Mello made the kick off in the second half. When corinthians's Tony Macedo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Anajateua booed when corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilton Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Roger Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. corinthians's Roger Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Pereira in the 74th minute of play. If Tony Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Leão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilton Saldanha. Anajateua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of corinthians booed when Anajateua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glauco Pereira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jeremias Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anajateua! A collision led to corinthians getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Claudinho Palmeira hit a great ball. corinthians's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
