Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Tapecu's Rafa Rossi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rafa Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. Unidos do Morro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Massa got free with Lucas Luz in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Márcio Massa came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucas Luz could save by the left post. With a little luck, Unidos do Morro's Lucas Luz got control of the ball when Márcio Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Gustavo Koehler made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Netto. Tapecu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor de Barros made a kick off.
