After a defensive mix-up in Capanga SS's zone, Rony Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Vaz came out of the goal and Rony Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, vila nova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Severo in the 58th minute of play forced vila nova's goalkeeper Filipe da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Severo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe da Mata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moisés Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe da Mata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Valério Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. João Augusto Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Augusto Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Moisés Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes vila nova got a freekick which was hit by Arí de Toledo. Moisés Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Filipe da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rony Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Diego Vaz made a huge save. Capanga SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
