After 8 minutes, Cauã Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AirtonLW-FC and the Cosmos Internacional Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. AirtonLW-FC:s Fabinho Pernambucano showed great skill when he stopped Dinei Vargas:s penalty. If Silvério Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wilton Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AirtonLW-FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gabriel Mineiro hit a great ball. Cauan Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. The AirtonLW-FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabinho Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalberto Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Britto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, AirtonLW-FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Chaves came free, but Fabinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Gabriel Găvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Găvan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Britto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Gabriel Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvério Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fabinho Pernambucano made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Adalberto Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cauan Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosmos Internacional Club's goalkeeper Wilton Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilton Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvério Pernambucano scored 3-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabinho Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Silvério Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gernando de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Internacional Club's protests and gave Gernando de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Gernando de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th play minute Gabriel Găvan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilton Britto. 3-3. After having played for 82 minutes, Gabriel Găvan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AirtonLW-FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Găvan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cosmos Internacional Club getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gernando de Andrade hit a great ball. Gabriel Găvan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Wilton Britto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Senna in the 85th minute of play forced Cosmos Internacional Club's goalkeeper Wilton Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AirtonLW-FC's Bebeto Sampaio got a free kick in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Silvério Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosmos Internacional Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AirtonLW-FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
