Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hudson Corrêa took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Faustão Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hot Dog's protests and gave Faustão Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Faustão Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Diego Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capanga SS's zone, Pedro Luís Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Vaz came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Pedro Luís Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almir Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Diego Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Hudson Corrêa in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Diego Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hot Dog booed when Capanga SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Hudson Corrêa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Vaz. Hudson Corrêa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hot Dog's Pedro Luís Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Hot Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Salgado to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Capanga SS got a freekick which was hit by Charles Silva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Albuquerque got free with Diego Vaz in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Luís Albuquerque kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diego Vaz. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. Pedro Luís Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capanga SS's goalkeeper Diego Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Augusto Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Capanga SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Albuquerque came free, but Diego Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Diego Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedro Luís Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Capanga SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Diego Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Almir Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Vaz having to interfere. Pedro Luís Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Diego Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Silva hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Capanga SS's Diego Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Albuquerque in the 76th minute of play. Diego Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hot Dog. 80 minutes into the match, Capanga SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Albuquerque came free, but Diego Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Vaz. Capanga SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luís Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 88th minute, Pedro Luís Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Hot Dog were the better team. Hot Dog's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
