Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cauan Chaves kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Cosmos Internacional Club booed when Flecheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flecheira's João Paulo Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Vargas in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Gernando de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of João Paulo Cearense. Flecheira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Internacional Club's zone, Sílvio Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Britto came out of the goal and Sílvio Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Cosmos Internacional Club's Wilton Britto got control of the ball when Gabriel Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Sílvio Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Gernando de Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Internacional Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flecheira the free kick. In the 41st minute, Gernando de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Wilton Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flecheira.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Pernambucano to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Internacional Club's zone, Gabriel Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Britto came out of the goal and Gabriel Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Osmar Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Sílvio Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flecheira's Sílvio Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match, Cauan Chaves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Paulo Cearense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 68 minutes into the match, Flecheira's goalkeeper João Paulo Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando de Andrade. João Paulo Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvério Pernambucano in the 70th minute. Cosmos Internacional Club's Wilton Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Pernambucano in the 75th minute of play. Wilton Britto came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Flecheira's Bernardo Pontes. But to his dismay, Bernardo Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Flecheira's João Paulo Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Flecheira from getting a goal against them. Wilton Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gernando de Andrades short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got João Paulo Cearense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 93 played minutes Cosmos Internacional Club got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Meirelles. Wilton Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Pernambucano in the 94th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
