Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Palmeira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 12 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Cearense. Flecheira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perivaldo Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sílvio Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Emanuel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flecheira. In the 26th minute, Rubinho Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flecheira's Ediberto Goiano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Forrozeiros Futebol Clube. Sílvio Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Emanuel Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Forrozeiros Futebol Clube's zone, Sílvio Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Torres came out of the goal and Sílvio Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Fonseca lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flecheira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Forrozeiros Futebol Clube a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Fabiano Vale, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flecheira's João Paulo Cearense. 0-2. If Osmar Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Sergipano in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Reynaldo Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Gugu Velasco took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for João Paulo Cearense to make any attempt to save it. Emanuel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Pernambucano in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Pernambucano in the 56th minute of play forced Forrozeiros Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Emanuel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Sílvio Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flecheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Trevisan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Paulo Cearense firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 76thth minute of the game Francisco Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flecheira's João Paulo Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Paulo Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Palmeira in the 79th minute of play. Flecheira's João Paulo Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Sergipano in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Osmar Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Flecheira's Osmar Guerra got a free kick in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Flecheira's goalkeeper João Paulo Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Trevisan. The Forrozeiros Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
