Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Mineiro started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Araújo having to interfere. In the 5th minute Adelino Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Pernambucano having to interfere. If Adelino Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Gabriel Găvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Paulo Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Găvan in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Adelino Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AirtonLW-FC the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Adelino Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fabinho Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Leal struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fabinho Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos Futebol Clube. Cauã Lopes made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Adalberto Senna. Adalberto Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Paulo Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adalberto Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Bebeto Sampaio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Mineiro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AirtonLW-FC's zone, Valdemar Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho Pernambucano came out of the goal and Valdemar Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Adalberto Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AirtonLW-FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adalberto Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luiz Paulo Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gabriel Găvan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the AirtonLW-FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Găvan couldn't finish the play. Luiz Paulo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Găvan in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Luiz Fábio Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Futebol Clube and the AirtonLW-FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Santos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Gabriel Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Pradelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Adalberto Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gabriel Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AirtonLW-FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Mineiro couldn't finish the play. Santos Futebol Clube were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AirtonLW-FC to leave the ground with a draw.
