The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Patinhos AD booed when Faccio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Couto in the 7th minute of play forced Faccio Club's goalkeeper Juvenal da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Campidelis spun around in front of the goal 10 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Faccio Club's goal. Juvenal da Rocha made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Richard Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Quintal in the 18th minute of play forced Patinhos AD's goalkeeper Yuri Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Richard Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Cristóvão Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 36th minute, Richard Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felippe Quintal scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Eliseu Neto notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Faccio Club's Juvenal da Rocha. Juvenal da Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Campidelis made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Faccio Club got a freekick which was hit by Kaká de Castro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Tande in the 60th minute of play forced Faccio Club's goalkeeper Juvenal da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Dantas got free with Yuri Brodel in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Patinhos AD's Yuri Brodel got control of the ball when Cristóvão Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Richard Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faccio Club's Juvenal da Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Faccio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Couto to maneuver through the defense. When Tiago Sabóia fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faccio Club's protests and gave Tiago Sabóia a yellow card for diving instead. Richard Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal da Rocha having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Cristóvão Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faccio Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Richard Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Juvenal da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patinhos AD. Juvenal da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Campidelis in the 91st minute of the match. Wilson Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Juvenal da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Couto in the 95th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Dantas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yuri Brodel. Cristóvão Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Although Patinhos AD had been in control for most of the match, Faccio Club still came away with the win.
