Yan Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Diabo Verde F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Araújo to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Diabo Verde F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Campidelis came free, but Kaspar Aunaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Martins came free in the 47th minute and tried to tip the ball over Yuri Brodel, but to the joy of Patinhos AD's supporters the ball went over.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Campidelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Yuri Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Yan Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yan Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaspar Aunaste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Renato Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bonifacio Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Hugo Tande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patinhos AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 80th minute, Richard Campidelis made a precise shot to the right of Kaspar Aunaste. Diabo Verde F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 83 minutes into the game, Patinhos AD's Wilson Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaspar Aunaste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Hugo Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kaspar Aunaste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaspar Aunaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Campidelis in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Patinhos AD booed when Diabo Verde F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patinhos AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
