After a defensive mix-up in Snowford FC's zone, Cássio Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Goiano came out of the goal and Cássio Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Snowford FC defense, Jacinto de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmyr Goiano. The Snowford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmyr Goiano should have stopped the shot. Vinícius Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal de Castro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Walmyr Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto de Sousa went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Cássio Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Olympique Do Marcelo's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal de Castro came free, but Vinícius Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Walmyr Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Cruz having to interfere. Jacinto de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes of play, Olympique Do Marcelo's Cássio Bueno made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walmyr Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cássio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aníbal de Castro was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Raimundo Eduino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Goiano. Snowford FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Eduino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 57th minute, Jacinto de Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Walmyr Goiano. Snowford FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Walmyr Goiano made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jacinto de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Raimundo Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Do Marcelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Eduino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Vítor Severo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Olympique Do Marcelo's Cássio Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernani Teixeira during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Walmyr Goiano made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Jacinto de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Olympique Do Marcelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinícius Cruz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Snowford FC's Serafim Matorin. But to his dismay, Serafim Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Olympique Do Marcelo's Cássio Bueno was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Snowford FC booed when Olympique Do Marcelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, Snowford FC's Luciano Melo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinícius Cruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snowford FC reached it. Ivo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
