The referee ignored Patinhos AD's protests and gave Zé Paulo Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Patinhos AD got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Souza. In the 84th minute, Cássio Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Do Marcelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
