São José FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 100 Nome F.C the free kick. The supporters of 100 Nome F.C booed when São José FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Vianna in the 26th minute of play. Reinaldo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, São José FC's Robinho Batista ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reinaldo Siqueira. Reinaldo Siqueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Reinaldo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Batista in the 36th minute of play. Vágner Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Reinaldo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vágner Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vágner Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vágner Abreu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Vianna in the 42nd minute of play forced São José FC's goalkeeper Erik Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Vianna in the 56th minute of the match. Robinho Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Batista scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Pereira in the 69th minute. Franklin Miranda hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match.
