Spectators: 6552 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 1) Felippe Quintal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Juvenal da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Carioca in the 3rd minute of the match. Jarbas Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juvenal da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho Batista's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. São José FC's Erik Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Quintal in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of São José FC booed when Faccio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Faccio Club's goalkeeper Juvenal da Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Cristóvão Dantas could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Erik Meirelles however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th minute Robinho Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Batista in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Batista in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Diego Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Dantass short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Erik Meirelles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Kaká de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faccio Club's protests and gave Kaká de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of São José FC booed when Faccio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faccio Club's Juvenal da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Batista in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Vágner Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São José FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vágner Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robinho Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal da Rocha having to interfere. Erik Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Dantas went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Téo de Sena's late challenge caught a Faccio Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Téo de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to São José FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Téo de Sena hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Faccio Club's Clemente das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Meirelles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Xavier during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felippe Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robinho Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. Robinho Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Juvenal da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, São José FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Erik Meirelles came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Faccio Club's Felippe Quintal. But to his dismay, Felippe Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 69th minute, Diego Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Juvenal da Rocha throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dida da Costa in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jarbas Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal da Rocha having to interfere. When Vágner Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the São José FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Abreu couldn't finish the play. São José FC's Erik Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Quintal in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
