After 20 minutes, Alfredo Bittencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 100 Nome F.C and the Olympique Do Marcelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Cássio Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Siqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the 100 Nome F.C defense, Raimundo Eduino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Siqueira. The 100 Nome F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Siqueira should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Jeferson Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Jacinto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juninho Godoi's late challenge caught a Olympique Do Marcelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juninho Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Reinaldo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto de Sousa to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cássio Bueno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reinaldo Siqueira, 0-4. In the 55th minute, Jeferson Vianna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 100 Nome F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Jeferson Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Cássio Bueno took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Reinaldo Siqueira to make any attempt to save it. If Cássio Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Olympique Do Marcelo's Cássio Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. 75 minutes into the match, Olympique Do Marcelo's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Vianna came free, but Vinícius Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 100 Nome F.C's Reinaldo Siqueira got control of the ball when Jacinto de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Jacinto de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Siqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7.
