When Renato Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Diabo Verde F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Diniz couldn't finish the play. Kaspar Aunaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Quintal in the 5th minute of play. Aníbal Guedes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Charles Castro, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 13th match minute, Faccio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Régis Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cristóvão Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Kaspar Aunaste made a huge save. If Cristóvão Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Diabo Verde F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Charles Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diabo Verde F.C's Olívio Martins quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Clemente das Neves, made in the 36th minute of the game. With a little luck, Diabo Verde F.C's Kaspar Aunaste got control of the ball when Cristóvão Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Renato Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Felippe Quintal made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Faccio Club's goalkeeper Juvenal da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Diniz. After a rather tough play, Diabo Verde F.C's Olívio Martins got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Felippe Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 57 played minutes Diabo Verde F.C got a freekick which was hit by Charles Castro. Kaspar Aunaste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Felippe Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaspar Aunaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Kaspar Aunaste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute, Cristóvão Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faccio Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Régis Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diabo Verde F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 93 minutes, Renato Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diabo Verde F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Felippe Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaspar Aunaste. Diabo Verde F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felippe Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Faccio Club had won after a very even match.
