Faccio Club's Juvenal da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Faccio Club from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jacinto de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Do Marcelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Juvenal da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóvão Dantas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinícius Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristóvão Dantas slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto de Sousa in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Jacinto de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal da Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Bueno in the 93rd minute of play forced Faccio Club's goalkeeper Juvenal da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Olympique Do Marcelo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
