After 10 minutes, Lino Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riva’s Jaguar On The Back and the Confrade A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lino Soeiro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Confrade A.C.'s Ramiro de Almeida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guilherme da Silveira, made in the 12th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Marcos da Silveira got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ramiro de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Confrade A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Vargas made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Chicão Meireles. Sílvio Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro de Almeida in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Mădălin Tunar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Confrade A.C. the free kick. Mădălin Tunar hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes Riva’s Jaguar On The Back got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Schmidt. Sílvio Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Toledo in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Toledo in the 41st minute of play forced Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's goalkeeper Sílvio Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Emílio Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Toledo scored 2-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Toledo to make the kick off. With a little luck, Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Sílvio Fontes got control of the ball when Maurício Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Toledo got free with Sílvio Fontes in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Jonathan Vargas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Confrade A.C.'s Ramiro de Almeida quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Maurício Toledo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Fontes. That made the score 2-3 in the 62 minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Confrade A.C.'s Maurício Toledo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 played minutes Riva’s Jaguar On The Back got a freekick which was hit by Lino Soeiro. When Ramiro de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Confrade A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Toledo in the 79th minute of play. Percy Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Maurício Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurício Toledo in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Fontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Jonathan Vargas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Erivaldo Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Emílio Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riva’s Jaguar On The Back and the Confrade A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Riva’s Jaguar On The Back defense, Adelino Recife kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Fontes. The Riva’s Jaguar On The Back fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Fontes should have stopped the shot. The Riva’s Jaguar On The Back fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Confrade A.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
