With a little luck, Crissiumal's Erasmo Montenegro got control of the ball when Tomás Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Vidal in the 93rd minute of play forced Foz Cataratas's goalkeeper Wilson do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
