Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Luiz Vieira started the match with the kick off. The goalkeeper, Inácio Monteiro, was totally fooled by Mozondo's Sandro Queiroz, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Vítor Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mozondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inácio Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Donatello in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Luiz Guilherme Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If André Luiz Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chambica SC's zone, André Luiz Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Monteiro came out of the goal and André Luiz Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adilson Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto da Mata having to interfere. Vítor Donatello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio Monteiro having to make a save. Inácio Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Mozondo's Wilson Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inácio Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Vítor Donatello in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inácio Monteiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vítor Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Inácio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a little luck, Mozondo's Gilberto da Mata got control of the ball when Agostinho Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Luiz Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Inácio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Amadeu Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chambica SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mozondo the free kick. After 59 played minutes Chambica SC got a freekick which was hit by Téo Teles. When Vítor Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mozondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Donatello couldn't finish the play. Inácio Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luiz Vieira's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute, Vítor Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Inácio Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vieira in the 81st minute of play. Adilson Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gilberto da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, André Luiz Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mozondo's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If André Luiz Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chambica SC booed when Mozondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball.
