The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Linares got free with Luís Fábio Souza in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Donato charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Donato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Cantori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Donato to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Timão Blog Fiel getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pedrinho Prado hit a great ball. Anísio Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Clóvis Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Ortiz got in the 15th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Clóvis Magalhães handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Alfredo Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timão Blog Fiel's Clóvis Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathias Linares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fábio Souza having to make a save. Luís Fábio Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Cantori's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Bezerra came free, but Luís Fábio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Cantori got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ortiz. A collision led to Cantori getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Diogo Ortiz hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Cantori's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Linares. Clóvis Magalhães came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cantori's Anísio Dias. But to his dismay, Anísio Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Anísio Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clóvis Magalhães was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Alfredo Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Clóvis Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Timão Blog Fiel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cantori were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaltino Bezerra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Isaltino Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Celso Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Timão Blog Fiel's Sydney Fantini got a free kick in the 77th minute. Isaltino Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mathias Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timão Blog Fiel's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Isaltino Bezerra in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Anísio Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Cantori's Clóvis Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anísio Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luís Fábio Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
