Alfredinho Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, LoKs EC's Diego Silva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fábio Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrique Cerezo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Alfredo Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Souza having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, LoKs EC's Alfredinho Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fábio Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Diego Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cantori's Luís Fábio Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot by Edmundo Gerber from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Maurício Leal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 26 minutes into the game, Luisão Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LoKs EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cantori the free kick. Alfredinho Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Donato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Fábio Souza. Cantori's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Anísio Dias took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Maurício Leal to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Anísio Dias made the kick off in the second half. When Geovânio Teles fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LoKs EC's protests and gave Geovânio Teles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LoKs EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Geovânio Teles hit a great ball. Cantori's Edmundo Gerber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurício Leal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in LoKs EC's zone, Alfredo Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Leal came out of the goal and Alfredo Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cantori getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edmundo Gerber hit a great ball. With his leg Luís Fábio Souza managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when LoKs EC's Alfredinho Matos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 minutes, Diego Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LoKs EC and the Cantori players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, LoKs EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Silva to maneuver through the defense. Diego Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvinho Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Diego Silva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Fábio Souza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diego Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Souza having to interfere. Chiquinho Velasco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cantori had won after a very even match.
