But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breenan McLiam couldn't finish the play. Deivid Mello struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alan de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROMAnguaça FC. Breenan McLiam was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Los Peladeiros FutArt's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute Deivid Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ROMAnguaça FC's zone, Aureliano Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Netto came out of the goal and Aureliano Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Poncio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Nicolas Netto 33 minutes into the match. If Aureliano Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the game, Aureliano Poncio lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Nicolas Netto. In the 46th minute, Andrézinho da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deivid Mello to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Poncio scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th match minute, ROMAnguaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Deivid Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Poncio's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Poncio in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Netto saved ROMAnguaça FC from getting behind. Oséas do Valle hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Deivid Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Aureliano Poncio sped through ROMAnguaça FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Netto. Nicolas Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breenan McLiam in the 89th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute.
