Paulinho Ramos started the match with the kick off. Yan Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Lira in the 3rd minute of the match. Zerya Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian de Souza in the 4th minute. The corner led to Zerya Football Club's Luiz Fernando Lira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Christian de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Christian de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Ramos was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Edgar Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gil Alagoano made a huge save. Zerya Football Club's Christian de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yan Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian de Souza's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Christian de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The Zerya Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Zerya Football Club's Christian de Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yan Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian de Souza's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Edgar Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes, Zerya Football Club's Christian de Souza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Ramos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zerya Football Club reached it. Valério Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Yan Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian de Souza in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Zerya Football Club's Luiz Fernando Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guveia's zone, Christian de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Ramos came out of the goal and Christian de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Guveia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Neiva to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Zerya Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian de Souza made a kick off. Dieguinho Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christian de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Zerya Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian de Souza couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Lira in the 65th minute of play forced Guveia's goalkeeper Yan Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christian de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Zerya Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian de Souza couldn't finish the play. Yan Ramos stood somewhat misplaced when Christian de Souza came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 73 minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Christian de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guveia's Yan Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 played minutes Zerya Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Senna. A collision led to Zerya Football Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tadeu Rocha hit a great ball. Gil Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Motta in the 85th minute of play. With his leg Yan Ramos managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Zerya Football Club's Christian de Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulinho Ramos struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gil Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guveia. When Christian de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zerya Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian de Souza couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Zerya Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guveia.
