Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulinho Ramos got the match started through his kick off. Guveia's Yan Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Pombal in the 3rd minute of play. If Geraldo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Guveia's Paulinho Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 20 played minutes Guveia got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Motta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Ramos in the 23rd minute of play forced Nazarezinho SS's goalkeeper Yuri Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Nazarezinho SS's Felippe Dias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paulinho Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Ramos took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Maia. Yuri Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Paulinho Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Maia having to interfere. The Nazarezinho SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guveia were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Túlio Pombal was the one to do the kick off. Júlio Gaúcho hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Edgar Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, one of Nazarezinho SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nazarezinho SS. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Guveia's Téo Domingues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yuri Maia. Geraldo Motta's late challenge caught a Nazarezinho SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geraldo Motta helped the player get up and apologised. Geraldo Motta hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Felippe Dias came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Nazarezinho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Dias couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nazarezinho SS's zone, Edgar Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Maia came out of the goal and Edgar Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Paulinho Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Guveia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Ramos couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Guveia's Edgar Mandrak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yuri Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Ramos in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th play minute Edgar Mandrak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yuri Maia. 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Guveia's zone, Felippe Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Ramos came out of the goal and Felippe Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Nazarezinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Ramos came free, but Yuri Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nazarezinho SS's Felippe Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Guveia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nazarezinho SS.
