Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Magarai's Falcão Nóbrega started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Téo Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Falcão Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falcão Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Magarai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Aabel Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Falcão Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magarai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 minutes, Ademir de Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luzerna and the Magarai players grew even worse after the yellow card. 16 minutes into the game, one of Luzerna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Tostão Pena, was totally fooled by Magarai's Renan do Vale, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Falcão in the 25th minute of play forced Magarai's goalkeeper Aabel Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Magarai got a corner. Luzerna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renan do Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. Téo Vaz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luzerna's goalkeeper Tostão Pena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Luzerna's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Nóbrega came free, but Tostão Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fábio Falcão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Fábio Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Bezerra took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tostão Pena. Tostão Pena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cleiton Sá hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Frank Bezerra scored 4-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tostão Pena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Magarai players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
