After a defensive mix-up in SHELSEA's zone, Emerson Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Arantes came out of the goal and Emerson Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Arantes made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Emerson Duarte sent off a good shot on target. Gil Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Simões in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá FC's Gilson Martins got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute of the match, Gilson Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldo Arantes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the match, SHELSEA's goalkeeper Osvaldo Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson Duarte. Rodrigo Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jaraguá FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
