C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilton Dionísio was the one to do the kick off. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Barreto came free, but Valério Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MarceloBão SC booed when Goias E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goias E. C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
