Spectators: 6975 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Acácio de Carvalho started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jogart FC's goalkeeper Willian Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dino Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinity's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Acácio de Carvalho sped through Jogart FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Willian Fernandez. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Horácio Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jogart FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediberto Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willian Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Andrézinho Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andrézinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Horácio Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jogart FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Andrézinho Terra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ediberto Dias having to make a save. Oséias de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dino Palmeira's late challenge caught a Jogart FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Dino Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Gabriel Antunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willian Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. If Oséias de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Trinity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Bueno to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Trinity's zone, Evandro Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediberto Dias came out of the goal and Evandro Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acácio de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséias de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Fernandez having to interfere. Evandro Abreu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Oséias de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
