With a little luck, Marristive F.C's Mateus Camargo got control of the ball when Nando Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marristive F.C's zone, Ediberto Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Camargo came out of the goal and Ediberto Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. From close distance Francisco Furtado pressed in the 3-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 26 minutes into the game. In the 29th match minute, Marristive F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Marristive F.C booed when Fulumir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sílvio Luís Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulumir's Francisco Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. Nando Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Camargo having to interfere. Mateus Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Furtado in the 55th minute of play. Nando Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mateus Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marristive F.C's Conrado Fernandes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Francisco Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fulumir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Sílvio Luís Machado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Nando Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Francisco Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Fulumir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Furtado couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes of play, Fulumir's Francisco Furtado made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Marristive F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Magalhães came free, but Mateus Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
