The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Jacovense's Luís Guilherme Mattos got control of the ball when Renatinho Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cléberson Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Silvério Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jacovense's Ronaldão Goiano got a free kick in the 44th minute. The supporters of Pintadinha FC booed when Jacovense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. Pintadinha FC's Dráuzio Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renatinho Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Mattos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pintadinha FC's Felipe Tande got a free kick in the 56th minute. William Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Guilherme Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Pombal in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Jacovense's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Sousa came free, but Luís Guilherme Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Pombal took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Guilherme Mattos. Luís Guilherme Mattos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee ignored Jacovense's protests and gave Beto Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jacovense getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Beto Aguiar hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, William Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pintadinha FC's Dalmo Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Pombal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Luís Guilherme Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintadinha FC. If Dalmo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dalmo Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Dalmo Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Guilherme Mattos. Jacovense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmo Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Luís Guilherme Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Sousa in the 95th minute of play. Pintadinha FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
