Rony Branco scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Messias got free with Zé Cerezo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Destemido Fc's Zé Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Branco in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Lino Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Cerezo. Destemido Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a little luck, Destemido Fc's Zé Cerezo got control of the ball when Lino Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sydney Leme hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 94 played minutes Destemido Fc got a freekick which was hit by Dino Quirino. Ancari AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
