An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Laguna in the 37th minute of play forced Iwamoto FC's goalkeeper Raphael de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Passos having to interfere. After the first half Padronal were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardinho Laguna made a kick off. Bernardinho Laguna scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael de Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raphael de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 75 played minutes Bernardinho Laguna rounded Iwamoto FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. Bernardinho Laguna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael de Lima having to interfere. Bernardinho Laguna struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Raphael de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padronal. Raphael de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Raphael de Lima made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Freddy Angelsø sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Raphael de Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Padronal's Bernardinho Laguna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bernardinho Laguna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padronal's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho Laguna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Bernardinho Laguna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael de Lima was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Padronal played a much better game than Iwamoto FC and deserved their victory. The Iwamoto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
