Spectators: 6200 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rubinho da Silva got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Gold Roaring Lyons's Rubinho da Silva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédson Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamim Meirelles's late challenge caught a Gold Roaring Lyons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamim Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Caruara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. If Rubinho da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gold Roaring Lyons's Alfredão Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Favoretto in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor de Alcântara in the 20th minute of play forced Caruara SS's goalkeeper Frédson Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Favoretto in the 24th minute of play forced Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Luís Fábio da Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão Mendes having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Caruara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Machado came free, but Frédson Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian Favoretto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Rubinho da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Betão Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredão Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 44 played minutes Gold Roaring Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Victor de Alcântara. Alfredão Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilian Favoretto went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilian Favoretto was the one to do the kick off. If Victor de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Décio Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gold Roaring Lyons's supporters rose to their feet, but Décio Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubinho da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frédson Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Caruara SS's goalkeeper Frédson Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor de Alcântara. Gold Roaring Lyons's Rubinho da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Guilherme Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold Roaring Lyons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubinho da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caruara SS's zone, Victor de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Magalhães came out of the goal and Victor de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frédson Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho da Silva in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Caruara SS's Frédson Magalhães got control of the ball when Victor de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubinho da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Frédson Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubinho da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frédson Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 88 minutes, Rubinho da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold Roaring Lyons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubinho da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gold Roaring Lyons booed when Caruara SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubinho da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Caruara SS could leave the field as winners, despite Gold Roaring Lyons having more of the ball for most of the match.
