After a rather tough play, Lords of Petrópolis's Edu Freire got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Tadeu Salles made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Sociedade Palestra Verde's Tadeu Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Krasimir Tanov. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. The Lords of Petrópolis fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Lords of Petrópolis's Claudio Mattin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute, Matías Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. César Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho da Rocha having to interfere. César Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fabinho da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
