When Eurico Barral fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nativa FC's protests and gave Eurico Barral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Eurico Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Osvaldo de Sousa sped through Nativa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Alcântara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Bertassi in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo da Mata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nativa FC's João Francisco Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo da Mata having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Francisco Ramos to make the kick off. Erasmo da Mata made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Agnaldo Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. If Agnaldo Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Erasmo da Mata made a huge save. Hugo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LOUCOZ BR's Christiano Araújo tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Osvaldo de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Michel Custódio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOUCOZ BR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nativa FC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Michel Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo da Mata was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hugo Ribeiro. After a rather tough play, LOUCOZ BR's Didi Mello got a free kick in the 91st minute. LOUCOZ BR's Osvaldo de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nativa FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing LOUCOZ BR to leave the ground with a draw.
