Bernardinho Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Murucupi booed when BOCA DO LEÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto de Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Rafinha Alvarenga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Augusto Souza skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto de Salles in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Miguel Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renato Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Souza having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Falcão during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Murucupi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vitinho Falcão hit a great ball. Farid Priem did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Renatinho Queiroz 66 minutes into the match. Murucupi's José Augusto Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto de Salles in the 83rd minute of play.
