Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sidnei da Mata made the kick off and thus started the match. Rui Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei da Mata's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Nestor Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Denílson Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Gororos got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Pires. In the 10thth minute of the game Sidnei da Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gororos's Rui Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gororos's zone, Nestor Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Coelho came out of the goal and Nestor Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Coelho came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's Sidnei da Mata. But to his dismay, Sidnei da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei da Mata in the 27th minute of play forced Gororos's goalkeeper Rui Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Prestes came free, but Silverio Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Gororos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sem Futuro Futebol Clube:s goal. When Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's Sidnei da Mata in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gororos's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's Nestor Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Fontes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Nestor Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei da Mata in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Coelho saved Gororos from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Prestes made a kick off. Rui Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei da Mata's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Luiz Eduardo Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Coelho having to interfere. Sidnei da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gororos's Rui Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Simões in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Sidnei da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Gororos defense, Clóvis Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Coelho. The Gororos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Coelho should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Nestor Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's Sidnei da Mata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rui Coelho. Rui Coelho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Sem Futuro Futebol Clube made a substitution. Nilton Pombal replaced Valério Urbano. Cristiano Prestes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Gororos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sidnei da Mata fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rui Coelho made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Sidnei da Mata sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Nedelcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Coelho having to interfere. The supporters of Sem Futuro Futebol Clube booed when Gororos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
