In the 11th match minute, Sevilha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. When Joaquim Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Videu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Hermes couldn't finish the play. Videu SS's Jerônimo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Pinho in the 15th minute of play. Vágner Secco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian Pernambucano went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Videu SS's goalkeeper Jerônimo Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseu Figueiredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vágner Secco having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Manoel Zonta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Videu SS's Jerônimo Costa. Jerônimo Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Pinho in the 47th minute of play forced Videu SS's goalkeeper Jerônimo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Paulo de Godoi's late challenge caught a Sevilha EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Paulo de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Edgar de Mendonça sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jerônimo Costa threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Edgar de Mendonça this time. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Leme during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Videu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manoel Zonta got free with Jerônimo Costa in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adhemar Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Vágner Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorian Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vágner Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Figueiredo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vágner Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vágner Secco came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Videu SS's Zé Paulo de Godoi. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 81 minutes into the game, Videu SS's Eliseu Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vágner Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dorian Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Secco having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Videu SS had won after a very even match.
