Chocolatal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mutante Rex FC the free kick. Chocolatal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Vânderson Braga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vinícius do Vale. 83 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Penha lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Marcelinho do Valle. José Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho do Valle having to interfere. Erivaldo Penha in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelinho do Valle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcos Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcelinho do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, José Penha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelinho do Valle. José Penha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When the match was over Mutante Rex FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chocolatal throughout the match.
