Jano Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto de Salles in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of BOCA DO LEÃO FC booed when Soviet Attack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto de Salles scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jano Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, one of Soviet Attack:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jairo Senna placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato Gaúcho in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jano Cerezo saved Soviet Attack from getting behind. Elias Pena hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's Renatinho Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save BOCA DO LEÃO FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto de Salles in the 44th minute of play forced Soviet Attack's goalkeeper Jano Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Gaúcho went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Gaúcho in the 61st minute of play forced Soviet Attack's goalkeeper Jano Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Renato Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Soviet Attack's Wilson Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renatinho Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Norberto de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Norberto de Salles took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Jano Cerezo to make any attempt to save it. 83 minutes into the game, Remo Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soviet Attack's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOCA DO LEÃO FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Soviet Attack:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BOCA DO LEÃO FC:s goal. Jairo Senna walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Norberto de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jano Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto de Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jano Cerezo. That made the score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. Samuca Peres's late challenge caught a BOCA DO LEÃO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Peres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, Renato Gaúcho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jano Cerezo, passed just outside the right post. BOCA DO LEÃO FC played a much better game than Soviet Attack and deserved their victory. The Soviet Attack players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
